Baraboom! Studios was founded in 2009 by Pepe Valencia, tapping over 20 years of experience in visual effects, animation, lighting and digital cinematography.
Prior to Baraboom! Pepe delivered previs for Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone, Polar Express, Monster House among others. Moving from strength to strength, Pepe was the Director of Photography for the feature Astro Boy.
Thus far, BARABOOM! Has contributed to “The Impossible” starring Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor, and “Hop” starring Russell Brand. We have also completed work for the Looney Tunes short films “Rabid Raider” and “Fur of Flying”.
We are based in Los Angeles. We can work locally, on location or completely virtual depending upon the production’s needs. We use Autodesk Maya, ShotGun, GotoMeeting and Cinesync among other production tools.
